Default Skill count?

I couldn't find this using the search option...

Does anyone know if the skills we had access to during the event for Dervish and Paragon represent the full skill set for these professions? I count about 60 ea, out of which only 5-6 are elites.

If my math is correct 300 new skills in Nightfall will be divided much like skills were divided in Factions- 25 per core (10 elites, 15 regular), and 2x75 per new profession. This would imply that there were about 15 skills that were not available to us during this event per prof.

This is of course speculation based on Factions and Factions skill distribution format. Does anyone have any official word or confirmation about this?

I'm personally assuming there's a few more Paragon and Dervish skills coming in the next four months or so. No official word that I've heard.

Would be kind of silly if they only have 5-6 elites. I mean.. the Factions profs had 15 ea... I wonder if this means that the Dervish and Paragon will get about 10 more elites ea before release... Seems weird to just roll the profs out with just 60 skills and 5 elites vs the 75 skills and 15 elites the Factions team came up with.

It was 90 skills total for each Factions profession? I thought the 75 was the total of the normal skills + the elite skills for each new prof.? Bah I'm gonna go count. Whatever the number is I remember them saying they're doing the number of skills the same for each chapter. Last chapter it was actually 30 new skills for each core profession. 25 new original skills and 5 copy skills each. Dunno if they'll keep copying 5 each chapter though.

EDIT: Ya it was 75 skills total, 60 normal 15 elite. So that just means they're still tweaking a few skills since there are like 4-5 months left in development. They'll prolly have the full line of skills by the time for the PvE Nightfall preview.

They don't show you all the Elites in the preview event.

They didn't show you all the Rit And Zin Elites in the Factions PvP Beta Test...What made you think You'd get to unlock them all here for the dervish and paragon?

Are you sure? I could swear the Factions Beta had all the skills for both Rit and Sins. But that was awhile ago, I could be forgetting.

@TheMosesPHD: Yea, I thought they said they are keeping the same format for each new chapter. I wonder a bit about the doubling up as well. I think it's an awkward decision- calling same skill different names is confusing and not a smart move long term...

This way or the other ANet seem capable of handling the whole skill creation thing pretty well. They constantly come up with entirely new TYPEs of skills, so I'm sure whatever they have lined up for Nightfall, there's going to be some quality stuff in there. (and some junk of course)

I'm thinking tho... do we really need 10 new elites per chapter? Sounds like a nice round number but look at Factions: you get a few new quality elites per profession but most are junk elites. Not like this is likely to change. I guess we'll just have to deal with all the Spoil Victor-s.

Yep I've been saying this a bit on a few posts since saturday:

There were 60 Dervish skills in the event but they will be released there will be 75. 7 elites were shown at the event and there will be 15. So if you do the math there are 8 eiltes and 7 non elites still to be shown.

It's the same kind of situation for the Paragons but I haven't been bothered to count the skills.

There were 7 Dervish elites and only 4-5 Paragon elites. That definately suggests there is more to come.
